Students will first sort the words into three groups: adjectives, nouns and verbs. Then students can alphabetize each set of words.The words are simple, easily recognizable words that students should be able to read with little guidance.The theme for this particular game is scarecrows but can be used anytime of the year to practice word type identification and ABC order to the first letter. This activity is great for a station or small group work in your classroom.
